Comporium Security will include its award-winning central station operators as part of their iControl powered interactive security and home management system. The product offering is part of its Security Dealer Program which combines 50 cable TV, telecom, and electric utility clients into a base of one-million customers being offered the program.
The Central Station Alarm Association’s (CSAA) Five Diamond Certification represents that 100 percent of a company’s alarm monitoring operators have achieved a level of proficiency and certification by passing the CSAA’s Central Station On-Line Operator Training Course.
The Comporium system will include an interactive touch screen which will allow application programs to be downloaded and used on the system. “Any iPhone and iPad user and other smartphone customers are going to immediately recognize and comprehend how our new home security and home management system works,” Comporium General Manager Dan Lehman said in a press release. “Downloadable applications for controlling security, video monitoring, lighting, and thermostat; as well as, for finding other web-based information and entertainment content will be offered on the touch screen.”
“This state-of-the-art system creates the portal to the home or the family information center where multiple systems including security are controlled in one place and provide other needed information,” Lehman added. “This advanced technology has made our Security Dealer Program very successful!”
Many telecommunication and cable giants are leveraging their network of clientele and broadband infrastructure to better meet the increasing demand for home security system technologies. In a recent press release AT&T pointed out that they would be offering their own infrastructure to similar endeavors.
