As the exclusive partner of RapidSOS, Cove uses the same technology as smartphones to digitally transmit locations and other useful data to 911 dispatchers. A Secure and Affordable Home Security System

Two monthly monitoring plans are available: Cove Basic for $14.99/month and Cove Plus for $24.99/month. The company applies the following three-factor communication strategy called TripleTouch Alarm Response during emergencies:

  1. LiveAssist: Two-way audio is built in the alarm panel, enabling direct communication between you and one of Cove’s professional agents.
  2. InstaText: At the same time, Cove sends a text message to the phone number that they have on record and you can either respond with “Dismiss the alarm” or “Dispatch.”
  3. Direct Phone Call: Lastly, Cove gives you a call to double-check if you need help. If you don’t answer, they’ll contact emergency services on your behalf.

Although Cove’s products are limited, you can customize your home security package to fit your needs. You also get a free key remote when you sign up for their newsletter. When building your package, you can include the following:

Professional Monitoring

Cove’s monitoring plans are relatively affordable compared to other companies. Plus, contracts aren’t required which means you don’t have to pay any cancellation fees. The Cove Basic plan includes 24/7 professional monitoring, a one-year limited warranty, environmental monitoring, and a 24-hour battery backup. The Cove Plus plan includes everything the Basic plan offers in addition to a lifetime equipment warranty, smartphone control, voice assistant support, and a lifetime monitoring rate-lock guarantee.

A Professional Grade-Touch Panel

The Cove Touch Alarm Panel is easy to set up: just plug and play. With tamper-proof technology and a system that functions off of cellular data, the panel monitors your sensors, detectors, and cameras every hour while also self-diagnosing. An 84-decibel siren is built in, so you should know right away when a burglar trips the alarm.

Not very many home security companies include two-way communication in their control panel. Cove will have one of their agents get a hold of you through the panel, text message, or phone call. If they don’t receive a response from you, they’ll immediately dispatch emergency services to your home.

For the Economy plan, Cove gives you up to $350 in equipment and in return, you pay the first month’s monitoring cost and an additional $10/month for the convenience of not paying the equipment upfront. Lastly, you have to keep their monitoring services for 36 months.
